There is truly nothing like the Aspen Food & Wine Classic, which wrapped up this Sunday. As I begin what I am sure will be an extended detox period I am looking forward to sharing the highlights of my weekend with you here.
My three top learning experiences of the weekend include an opportunity to taste a corked wine, watch a full pig be butchered, and the American Express Trade Program panels - more coverage on all to come! For now, a few great photos and highlights from the grand tasting tents.

My favorite new Cabernet discovery - Hall out of Napa:

My favorite new Rose discovery - Condesa from Spain:

And my favorite booth - Mouton Cadet set up a video camera to film 6 seconds of video that they turned in to a flip book for you. Made for a great memento, and delicious wines too!
